Dailysportscar.com, a leading online racing resource for GT Sportscar drivers, teams and enthusiasts, recently paid a visit to the Silverstone headquarters of FF Corse.

Mark Howson, the Deputy Editor and UK National editor, was the man charged with the visit. Mark subsequently spent the next few hours in the hands of Anthony Cheshire, Jamie Stanley and the team, getting a full briefing and insight into FF Corse and what makes it tick.

3rd Place finish in Ferrari Open

Snetterton Ferrari Open (Oct 19th & 20th)

 

The final round of the Ferrari Open took place at Snetterton on October 19th & 20th. FF Corse driver, David Mason took part in both races in his Ferrari 458 Challenge GTC, coming away with a 3rd place podium finish in race 1 and 4th place finish in race 2.

The annual Ferrari Open Presentation Dinner for the series is taking place for drivers and guests at the Cotswold Water Park Hotel on November 30th at 7:30pm. The dinner is black-tie and further details are available The Ferrari Owners Club or from FF Corse

For drivers looking to undertake some additional testing before the 2014 season begins, FF Corse have a scheduled winter testing programme from December 2013 – March 2014. To reduce lead times and to enable events to be booked or cancelled at short notice0, cars can be prepared prior to events and  arrangements can be made at very short notice. Sub-contract HGV Race-Truckies (Part-Time)

Opportunities exist for part-time sub-contract HGV drivers to operate on events in a support role for the technical team.

The job is mainly seasonal and successful applicants will need to be customer facing, have a positive can-do team attitude and previous experience with similar roles.

HGV licence & previous motorsport experience essential.

FF Corse Launches New Website

FF Corse have, this week, launched a new updated 2014 version of the website.

Much of the content remains the same as the previous website and visitors familiar with the previous version should instantly be able to navigate their way around the new site.

Along with a refreshed look, the website now has some added functionality, including a photo gallery section where images from events and race meetings will be uploaded directly to the website for viewing.

The website has been optimised for viewing on portable devices, like iphones and tablets. It is also fully synchronised with our Twitter feed (@ffcorse) for the latest news information and race results.

The website has been developed by our media partners Circuit pro, details of whom can be found within our partners section.

USA Road Trip: April 11th – 18th, 2014

Through our links with Indian Super Car Club (SCC), our members have been offered the chance to participate in their USA driving trip.

The event starts in Los Angeles and takes in the sights of the Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Death Valley, before concluding at Las Vegas.

The hiring of a supercar (including a Ferrari 458 Italia) and hotel bookings are all available through the event organisers.

Glorious Goodwood – FF Corse

FF Corse will run an exclusive track event in the summer at Goodwood on the historic motor revival circuit. Taking place on July 1st, the event will be for a limited number of FF Corse drivers and run to an open pit-lane format.

Overnight accommodation and a members social dinner will be held at Goodwood Park Hotel the night before.

British GT Entry Confirmed For FF Corse

Having finished as the leading Ferrari team last year, FF Corse have confirmed an entry for Gary Eastwood & Rob Barff in this year’s 2014 British GT Championship.

The UK’s premier GT Championship runs a Pro-Am format over 7 race weekends. The showcase event being the 3 hour race at FF Corse’s home circuit, Silverstone, on June 1st

The FF Corse driver pairing hope to continue in their Ferrari 458 GT3 where they finished off last season. The team finished on the podium in each of the last three races and outscored every other team/driver combination during the later half of the season.

GT Cup Championship Team Award

FF Corse collected the 2013 Championship Team’s Trophy at the weekend’s GT Cup awards dinner.

The team’s drivers scored 19 victories throughout the season, racking up more points and wins than any other competing team.

The prizegiving was held on Saturday night at the Haynes Motor Museum, Yeovil. Alex Martin collected his award for winning the GTC Class Championship, having steered his way to 10 of the FF Corse victories. His Father, Rupert Martin was also on hand to collect his second placed trophy for the GTC Class.

FF Corse are looking forward to participating again in the 2014 Championship and defending their Team Trophy.

Exclusive FF Corse Portimao track event underway

The exclusive two-day FF Corse track event is now underway at Portimao, in Portugal’s circuit. The weather is currently 20 degree centrigrade and dry, perfect for testing.

Ten cars with thirty five drivers, guests and technical staff have made the trip to the Algarve. With Ferrari Challenge cars, an F40 and an Enzo in attendance.
