Last weekend Ian Morris and FF Corse Driver Coach Miguel Faisca took on the Fun Cup Endurance Championship at Croft.

The weekend provided huge success, with the FF Corse car comfortably leading and battling throughout. As always, Morris was ever-improving, successfully finishing and securing 2 race finish signatures to his race license. The weather was kind all weekend, providing a dry track and a full green flag Race 1, allowing for plentiful racing and tight strategy calls.

RACE 1 – 60 Minutes

A draw from a hat saw FF Corse starting P2 for Race 1, where Faisca was able to hold onto position for the first stint, despite an exciting 13 lap battle from cars 251, 246 and 225.

A pit stop of 44.671 seconds allowed FF Corse to come out in P10 for the second stint, now with Morris behind the wheel. Despite relatively small racing experience compared to the drivers sharing the track, Morris put in highly consistent lap times, sustaining position until the very end of his stint.

RACE 2 – 180 Minutes

FF Corse drew P8 for Race 2, just 1 hour after the Race 1 finish. This 97 lap race saw tight battles throughout, with FF Corse reaching P3 by lap 9. However, an unfortunate timed safety car after the first pit stop resulted in cold tyres and a drop of positions on the restart.

The remainder of the race saw close battles and overtakes, until finally crossing the line.

Overall, a very strong weekend with promising pace and development from Morris.
